Paul Waldowski and Family

The Waldowski family plays a big role in Everything Appeldoorn’s. Paul Waldowski has been running the family resort as General Manager since 2007. Living at Appeldoorn’s Sunset Bay Resort has allowed him to deliver exceptional service to all the guests that stay with us. He has become an incredible asset to the Appeldoorn’s and is responsible for much of its recent growth and development. The resort has become a family affair for the Waldowski’s as well. Paul’s two children Kirsten and Alex spend a lot of their time living and working at Appeldoorn’s alongside their father. During the summers both Kirsten and Alex work at the front desk and help Paul with guest service and managing the grounds. Kirsten is fascinated in both the human body and mind which as driven her to become a student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She likes to spend her free time listening to music, dancing, reading, and working at Appeldoorn’s. Her favorite part about working at the resort is getting to spend time with the people and feeling the family element that is always present. Alex is currently a student at Denfeld High School. His love of snowboarding, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, and the outdoors in general is a huge part of why he enjoys working at the resort so much. He loves spending his time in the summer getting to know new people and working outside along with his dad and sister. After graduation he plans on going on to become a firefighter.
